We had a great time at Mayfield Manor! the location was perfect; just a short walk to the town center. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with large beds and powerful showers. the fitted kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. the old-style windows added charm to the place. We were able to relax in peace and quiet. the staff provided great service and made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay again!
The property could benefit from some minor maintenance, as the old sash windows tended to rattle from the wind.

Free WiFi was great for scrolling through social media while ignoring the creaky floors and crumbling walls. Dishwasher was a lifesaver to clean up after the ghosts using the antique furniture.
I just loved how the heating was sporadic - nothing like a freezing night in an old manor to remind me of Victorian times. #ghostlyexperiences

The showers had plenty of power and the beds were large and comfortable. As vegetarians and vegans, we were pleased to find suitable options for our meals.
We felt very much at home during our stay and had no complaints at all.

Garden: The garden at the holiday home was like a hidden oasis. I had the pleasure of sipping my morning coffee surrounded by blooming flowers and chirping birds, feeling like I was in my own little paradise.
Sash windows: The only minor issue I encountered was the old sash windows. While they added charm and character to the property, they tended to rattle a bit in the wind.

The holiday home at Mayfield Manor was just perfect for us. The fully equipped kitchen was a dream for our group of friends who love cooking together. And having 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower, made getting ready in the mornings a breeze.
One small thing we didn't love was that one of the bathrooms only had a shower. But hey, that's just our personal preference, some people might actually prefer it.

Great location! The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance, which is a huge plus. The kitchen in the hotel is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for your family if you prefer to cook. This saved us some money on breakfast and dinner. The showers in the hotel have excellent water pressure, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. The beds are also large and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
We experienced a few issues during our stay. the old sash windows were quite noisy, especially when it was windy outside.

I absolutely adored the charming vintage decor at Mayfield Manor! The beautiful old sash windows were a delight, even if they could use a little shimmying to stop them from rattling in the wind. It reminded me of my childhood home, and it made me feel right at ease. The hotel's general areas were also well-maintained and easily accessible for senior folks like myself. I appreciated how everything was conveniently located, making it easy for me to get around without any trouble.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or organized events specifically tailored for senior guests. The children working there were friendly, but sometimes it felt like they didn't fully understand the needs and preferences of older adults.
